Eyes Like Lanterns is a four piece indie folk rock group from Santa Cruz, CA founded in 2018 by frontman Joshua Cremer. Eyes Like Lanterns combines indie rock and folk into a story telling blend that bends genres and is fun for all ages and walks of life.
Rumors in Virgo (Santa Cruz, CA) are a whimsical band of merrymakers. Their honest original tunes pay homage to the folk and rock revolutionaries of the ‘60s as well as the pop and emo balladeers who have followed in their wake. Formed in October 2022 by the magnetic duo of Nicky Voss (vocals/ukelele/guitar) and Benny Mae West (vocals/guitar), they quickly attracted attention and were joined by Izzy Lion (bass/cello/vocals) and Circus Joe (drums/vocals) for their first tour culminating in several performances at Salmonfest 2023 in Ninilchick, AK. There is a chemistry within this group of performers that cannot be denied. Their collective passion is bursting at the seams and, while sometimes described as twee, their 2024 release “Bipolar” has still been known to get fans moshing with a grin in true folk-punk fashion. Their heartfelt hooks and effortless harmonies feel brand new and yet instantly nostalgic, and their deep love of the music is irresistibly contagious. They are sure to burrow themselves into a corner of your heart.
alecia haselton is an alt folk/rock vocalist, musician, and songwriter based in Nashville. Her roots are in Corralitos, California. In 2017, alecia started learning how to play instruments (guitar, piano, autoharp, ukulele) to write her own songs after her pop punk band broke up. In 2018 she had her first gig in the bay area. Over the next few years, she played many solo acoustic shows in California, as well as keyboard in several original bands. At the end of 2019 she decided to move to her life-long love Hawai’i, where she lived and played music professionally for two beautiful years.

A birthday visit to never-before-seen Nashville in June of 2021 planted a seed. Although she was in love with island life, maybe there was more industry and networking to be experienced beyond her little paradise. She moved to Nashville in the fall of 2021 to pursue music more intensely. alecia now sings professionally with a rock/country cover band on Broadway, the main street in downtown Nashville, 4-6 times a week.

alecia haselton has an EP and five singles, available online wherever you listen to music. She also has two music videos, a lyric video, and multiple cover songs on her YouTube channel. Her original songs mostly remind listeners of Jewel, Alanis Morisette, The Cranberries, and Natalie Merchant, with the exception of new song “Orphan.”

“Orphan” was released October of 2024. “Orphan” has emotional tones of My Chemical Romance mixed with powerful melodies reminiscent of early Paramore. The pop/alternative rock ballad was written and recorded with her late boyfriend, Nathan Rael Candelaria. Rael was in alecia’s Nashville cover band, until his devastating and unexpected passing in October of 2022.

“Orphan,” is a genre unlike her other songs on Spotify. It’s a direction she’s wanting to take in the future, missing the high-energy full-band rock performances of her former pop punk band. She is currently working on another song her and Rael wrote together with Don Budd at Tone Freq Studios in San Jose, California. alecia is also planning to release more folk and alt rock original tunes she has written over the years.

Her debut full-band concert in Santa Cruz will feature Armando Yanéz Partida on the bass guitar, Andrew Cypert on the drums, Bailey Blanton on the electric guitar, and herself on the ukulele, autoharp, keyboard, and acoustic guitar.
Thelves are a 4-piece indie surf/alternative band from San Jose, California. The band met in high school and formed in 2022. Their sound fuses punchy indie guitar rhythms and the surf sound of the ‘60s and 2010s.
