Live In The Atrium: Sloppy Seconds

SLOPPY SECONDS: Formed in Indianapolis, Indiana in the mid-1980s, Sloppy Seconds are a cornerstone of American pop-punk, known for their irreverent humor, catchy hooks, and unapologetically trashy aesthetic. Fronted by the larger-than-life B.A. (Brian Alvey), the band built a cult following with their mix of Ramones-style simplicity and outrageous, often offensive lyrical themes that blur the line between satire and shock value. Breaking out with their debut album Destroyed (1989), Sloppy Seconds quickly became underground legends, delivering fast, hook-filled songs about junk food, horror movies, and lowbrow Americana. Releases like More Trouble Than They’re Worth and Knock Yer Block Off cemented their reputation as one of the most entertaining and unpredictable bands in punk. Despite periods of inactivity, Sloppy Seconds have remained a beloved fixture in the punk scene for decades, continuing to tour and release music that stays true to their original formula: loud, fast, crude, and undeniably fun. Their live shows are chaotic, high-energy celebrations of everything ridiculous about punk rock and that’s exactly the point.     SEIZED UP: Formed in Santa Cruz, California in 2019, Seized Up is a hardcore punk powerhouse featuring members of legendary bands including BL’AST!, Good Riddance, The Distillers, and Fast Asleep. Fronted by longtime BL’AST! vocalist Clifford Dinsmore alongside guitarist Danny B., bassist Chuck Platt (Good Riddance), and drummer Andy Granelli (The Nerve Agents), the band delivers a relentless blend of classic hardcore, punk urgency, and raw West Coast aggression.   RED40: Hailing from Santa Cruz, California, Red40 delivers a raw, high-energy blend of punk and hardcore rooted in the grit and attitude of the Central Coast scene. Known for their fast tempos, aggressive riffs, and no-frills approach, the band channels classic DIY punk ethos with a modern edge.   DIRTKICKER: From Santa Cruz, California, Dirtkicker brings a heavy, no-nonsense blend of punk, hardcore, and metal aggression.
